Zara Kids
Launched April 2025, our Zara Kids collab capsule collection featured a variety of graphic print t-shirts and awesome patch jackets inspired by our iconic Seagull Red and Carbon 77.
Saint Laurent
Fashion house Saint Laurent approached us to reinvent one of our toys in their signature animal print treatment.
The result was a stunning limited edition product, sold exclusively at their Paris flagship store. It was so loved that two full-scale models were constructed of solid marble, and displayed at YSL stores around the world.
Starting out as a solid block of the highest grade beechwood available, this exquisite gift item was produced using a unique wrap process, with each unit being hand cut and polished, and a full 360-degree seamless decal applied.
The New York Times
When the New York Times Store decided to add an actual wooden toy car for their Holiday season selection, they called upon us to make a newspaper delivery truck toy, branded with their famous logo. Searching the archives with the NYT team, deciding what makes the soul of the humble delivery truck, and engineering a new wooden toy from scratch on a tight schedule was exhilarating.
The result of this thoroughly enjoyable design process with the NYT team is the birth of our first full scale delivery truck; a sturdy, solid wooden toy truck that rivals the best branded toy trucks out there.
Museum of Ice Cream
Museum of Ice Cream turns dreams into wildly imaginative spaces—a perfect match for our equally playful spirit. Together, we whipped up a mouthwatering custom CANDYCAR® Ice Cream Van, served at all three MOIC locations in NYC, Austin, and Singapore.
The Criterion Collection™
We partnered with The Criterion Collection™ to turn a slice of film history into a collectible that fits in the palm of your hand.
Criterion has long been a gold standard in cinema, renowned for curating, restoring, and releasing some of the most influential films from around the world. When they brought their iconic Criterion Closet Picks to the road, debuting at the 62nd New York Film Festival, we saw an opportunity to translate that cultural moment into something uniquely Candylab. Reimagined in our signature CANDYCAR® style, this collab was made for film lovers, collectors, and design lovers alike. It's a tribute to great taste, scaled down with purpose.
Starbucks Reserve
Starbucks Reserve offers exceptional and limited-edition coffees through a more immersive and artisanal coffee experience not found in standard Starbucks stores.
Our custom CANDYCAR® was a beautiful extension of that. We crafted a custom line with solid walnut with rose-gold aluminum base, and developed 5 designs that play on the heritage of coffee and culture in their stores in Seattle, New York City, and Chicago.
Netflix
Netflix was expanding into retail operations across the world, and reached out to us to produce a series of toys based on the iconic vehicles starring in the hit series Stranger Things.
We conceptualized, designed, and produced this mini product line from the ground up.
